Synopsis: Never trust a pretty face. My grandma taught me that. She warned me about the Fair Folk but I never believed her…until I was kidnapped by one. And damn, he is pretty.
But Fin was sent to bring me to his King, and if I want to survive the Otherworld, I have no choice but to trust him – for now.
Oh, and did I mention my sexy best friend is hunting me? I should’ve listened to Gran.

Excerpt from Cursed Rebel by H.G. Lynch:
"Looking at the faery boy in front of me, with his exquisite features and striking eyes, I thought that Grandma had been right. I was realising she had been right about a lot of things. I wished I’d listened to her better, wished I’d believed her when she warned me about the Fair Folk.
Staring into those inhumanly bright eyes, seeing the glitter of something cruel beneath that prettiness, I whimpered. I didn’t mean to, and the second I did, I wished I hadn’t. I couldn’t show fear there, or the beautiful monsters would tear me apart like well-disguised lions."

Guest Post:
Dear Grandma,
I know it’s too late for
this, and you’ll never read this letter, but I hope by leaving it on your grave
you’ll somehow understand. Hey, who knows? If faeries exist, maybe ghosts do
too. If you’re a ghost, please come visit me. I miss you.
Anyway, what I meant to say is this – you
were right. About everything. The fae are real. And some of them are evil. I
know your secret, and I understand why you didn’t tell me – I never would have
believed you. I should have.
But as right as you were, you were wrong too. Not all of the fae are cruel, heartless monsters. You might not believe this, but some of them are really nice. I think they may be misunderstood a lot of the time.
I met this one faery called Fin…well, I called him Fin because he wouldn’t tell me his name at first…basically, he’s different from what I expected. He’s wild and dangerous and gorgeous, yes. But he’s also really sweet and funny and I…never mind.
The Otherworld is beautiful. And terrifying. It seems like the prettier something is there, the deadlier it is. But I guess you know that.
I also wanted to say how sorry I am for not believing you when I was a little girl, for thinking you were, well, a little bit crazy. Please forgive me, Grandma. I didn’t understand then, but now I do. I understand everything. It took me some time to accept it all, but I’m dealing.
I love you and I miss you every day.
