Jolly School of Wordsmithery: Winners and Winning - A Motivational Post

Winners and Winning

You're always seeking something. You travel to places, you stare into infinite distances, you read a mountain of books, you go to workshops, you ask endless questions.
You are seeking answers. You are trying to find some answers to your life and you have a huge hunger for a new life.

In your mind, you often think to yourself yourself "there must be something more. This cannot be all my life is worth. There has GOT to be something more". Sometimes you scream it out aloud.

Your relatives and your friends think you are weird and believe you are strange. They're always on your case. "What is wrong with you? Why do you need to have that? What's wrong with what you've got? Why do you have to do that? Why can't you be like everyone else?"
They don't understand.

I believe there are five different types of people on this planet.

There are the winners. These are the people who know what they want. The people who know what their potentials and possibilities are. They go out and grab what they want, they take life head-on. They get everything they have ever wanted and more.

There are the losers. These are the people who don't know who they are. The people who have given up on themselves. They believe they are are losers and that nothing will ever change. They imagine themselves as a failure. They feel hopeless in themselves and they feel hopeless in bettering themselves.

There are the neutrals. These are people who keep their heads down and conform to the capitalist system. They have no goals. They don't care for a better life and just accept what they have. They are boring and tasteless, like plain rice. They wake up, they work, they eat, they go to sleep. Day after day. Until they die. Nobody will remember them.

There are the jealous. The spiteful. The people who want to be winners but don't want to work towards earning it. They feel they have entitlement to whatever they want. But they never get it. Instead they, out of jealousy, attack the winners. And they attack the people trying to be winners.

And then there are people who are seekers. People who believe they are losers but are actually winners. They just don't know it yet. This is you. These people, you, have not yet discovered the key that will allow them to unlock new paths, new journeys and new opportunities. These people are winners who are just a touch out of alignment.
These people just need a little bit of tweaking. Some adjustments here and there. A little bit of change. Sometimes they need guidance and coaching, a little help and a chance to be given an opportunity to find their key. And when they find it, they realise they are really winners.

Success is not a big mystery. It's just scary. It's scary because you're afraid of it. You're afraid of it because it is unknown to you. You want it, need it, but you're scared of it. Like falling in love with someone.

But guess what? It is okay to be afraid. Fear is why you are alive. You survive by conquering your fears one by one.

It will take time, but you can fight that fear, and you will win. The fear is inside you, but it is not part of you. It is temporary. The fear living in you is the rent-dodging tenant and you are the landlord or landlady.

Even now, you're struggling and fighting, you try to make it through day by day. And with every day by day that goes past, you get better and better and better and even better. You just don't realise it. But you will, when you find that key.

You will make mistakes on your journey. But that too is okay. Humanity thrives today because of the mistakes we made, the mistakes we learnt from. We had no idea that fire is painful until someone made the mistake of sticking their finger in it. Making mistakes is proof that you are trying.

Success relies very heavily on psychology. Your mind. The thoughts you allow to sit in your mind. They try to convince you that you're a loser or a neutral. But they are wrong. They are lies what have been put there by the jealous.
The thing about your mind is that you control it. Not them. You allowed these negative thoughts into your mind, you can evict them.

Next time you have a dream of success, a dream of being a winner, do not tell yourself that you don't know how to do it. Stop believing it's "just a dream".
All success starts as a dream. All winners are dreamers.

Write your dream down. Plan it step by step. Develop the skills you need. Ask for help. There is nothing wrong with asking a winner for help. They used to be you, once. They understand you. You can and you will achieve that dream. You've just got to keep working at it.

It's tough, it's hard. But that's what we call evolution. A butterfly can only survive in the wild if it had an epic struggle to break out of the cocoon. The cocoon is nature's way of telling the butterfly that it can conquer the skies, but only if it pushes hard for it.
The butterfly is a winner. You are a butterfly. You are a winner.

You can achieve your dream. You can find your key. It's right there. It's right in front of you. Waiting for you. Reach out for it.

A winner is a loser who never gave up.
